Photographed with several FD L lenses, mostly in the 400mm range (both f4.5 and f2.8) but also with smaller ones. I also shot with a EF 400mm L f/5.6 on a Canon 40D and there's just no comparison...

As allready made clear mirrorlenses arent any good for birds in flight though for your average birdshots they do pretty well.
Thought that was clear allready but there you have it.
