lostearstudio: I'm VERY interested in this. I frequently want a P&S camera and at the same time, I want to dumb down my phone to texting only (I'm deaf). If I could get the camera without the data plan, I could use it like an entertainment device (similar to how iPod Touch is) that happen to have the P&S function that I need. This would allow me to still have 'smartphone' function and be able to leave that behind whenever I need to disconnect myself from internet except for texting.

I would love to find a wifi-only variety of this camera.

I also just realized that I can use an app called DSLR Controller on this camera to also control the DSLR (like my T4i) that it is connected to via USB! That would be an interesting experience.

On Canon EOS Rebel T4i (EOS 650D / EOS Kiss X6i) challenge (2 comments in total)

Do the lens matter? I got an adapter for my minolta MD lens alongside with a macro tube extension which I used to snap some good pics of bugs earlier today. (not going to use those pics as it came out as RAW contrary to the contest rule).

lostearstudio: I have a pic of s sunflower. That's a big flower, I know. But my snapshot is specifically on the seeds that had started spouting tiny flowers so I have rows and rows of this tiny flowers. Is it acceptable for the criteria required?

Not quite sure if this would qualify?

I took advantage of the fact that my Kodak Z981 was excessively sensitive to the color red and then snapped a sunflower using the macro mode with the summer sun right behind the flower.

Thanks for any responses :-)
