I owned 12mm before then sold it to fund the 12-35mm purchase.
12mm is slightly sharper and around 1 stop faster.
For me, I cannot tell the difference the shoot between 12mm and 12-35mm@12mm. Also,...

In my EM5, I'm using LCD + magnify button when I'm shooting with SLRMagic 25mm t0.95 wide open. I found IBIS is very useful when using this method.
Now with focus peaking becomes more and more...

The dynamic range for full-frame esp. Nikon D800 is simply outstanding. The DoF is very thin and therefore can be good for portrait.
But will I move to full-frame dSLR for photography? No, dSLR is...

The drawback with that is: you don't have any fast lens. The ideal kit lenses: 12-35mm, 35-100mm and either 17mm 1.8, 20mm 1.7 or 25mm 1.4.
My travel kit consists of 12-35mm, 40-150mm and 25mm.

Placed 3rd in the challenge. Gerupuk village in Indonesia is located at the bay/gulf near the Gerupuk beach that is considered as a secret surf-beach. To get to the beach, you need to rent one of these boats from the locals as the beach is inaccessible by road.
