MarcLee: To the people whining about "the competition does not have this", or "the competition does not have that", get real. Unless you buy a high end camera, your camera does not have a bunch of functions that owners of a 1DX for example have. Sometimes not spending so much has a small disadvantage. Taking a stand against greed may involve a little sacrifice. It's this attitude that has made Adobe the monster it is. Let the suckers pay Adobe's overheads for less innovation. There is plenty of software out there to do MOST of what MOST people need. Support it and it will do more. Find out what you need. And buy it. I would like a 5D MK III to cost no more than my point and shoot. Guess what? It ain't going to happen.
No one if forcing you, it's YOUR choice.

@GaryJP We have a saying that the one asking is not stupid, it's the one who pays.
Every company prices their products as high as possible, it's the consumers task to decide if that price is right for them.

garyknrd: Who cares. I urge users to look elsewhere. I am, and have found support from others. I predict DXo and others to fill the gap extremely fast.
Does not matter if it's just him or million others, they don't know what others should do. I'm sure companies are calculating what kind of ROI they get staying with Adobe or switching to something else.

Anfernee Cheang: DPReview, will you fix the spec table which was copying NEX-3N? Some numbers just didn't look right... 2.7" 460K back LCD seems like a joke. And it doesn't look like it is fully articulated. Could you please also grab some information about the EVF resolution? Thank you.

Hubertus Bigend: @Admin: Text says 30/1.4 comes for Nikon, Canon, Sigma; table says Four Thirds, Pentax, Sony, too, which is probably in error? (While I would be glad to hear otherwise, I think Sigma has completely stopped making Four Thirds lenses?)
Anyway, it's good to see Sigma come up with more and more quality stuff, and for the mirrorless systems, too. I don't care for their new metal casing, though. I found the plastic versions already to be nice and solid.
And I'm somewhat surprised at their introducing a 60/2.8 non-macro lens, after their latest DP camera came with a 50/2.8 macro which I would have expected to be offered seperately just like the 19mm and 30mm lenses used to be DP lenses in the first place...
Info for 30/1.4 is for the old version, typical DPR copy paste error.

Mattoid: Announcing the DEVELOPMENT? Anyone can do that! They don't even have to release them for the statement to be true. I can personally announce today that I am developing a medium format compact camera with a 16-800mm f1.0 stabilized zoom lens that weighs only 150g and fits in a shirt pocket.
I thought that DPR does not post development announcements. Andy, does "Because at the moment it's a development announcement only." sound familiar ?

DPR, why was this posted as "Other news" and not as "Software news" ??
Archer66: RAW support seems to be limited at this point, no support for Sony A99, Nikon D600 or Canon 6D.

They need to update their RAW support page ASAP.

tinpusher: I just want to them to ensure no more back focus issues with better QC.
Guess you will never buy a new camera then.

photo nuts: Great review.
Decent camera. Not as light as one hopes for the SLT design, but acceptable.
Took a peek at Sony store for some lenses... Ewwwww... far too limited. Cannot compare to the m43 arsenal, much less Canikon range.
Good effort. Try harder next time Sony, especially your lens department.
Canikon might have more lenses but thats bc they have lenses with and without stabilization.
How many primes Canon has with IS ?

What do I know: Wake me up the day EVF gets as good or Better than a good 100% OVF
@nello
Just learn to use *proper* tracking technigue, keep both eyes open and track using the free eye.
BTW this works with OVF too.
Isnt that hotshoe wrong way?
Rooru S: "Its dust and drip-proof."
hahaha that made me smile. Good camera overall. Wondering about the price...
It's drip-proof so 6D owners can safely drool over other cameras.
obayedh: @ steven_k
It will depends on high ISO noise - looks like a great cam for CaNikon to afraid of!!
@Kabe Luna
Can canikon use 3 batteries ( 1 in camera, 2 in grip ) ?
Rooru S: Why there is no mention about the upcoming Zeiss Planar 50mm f/1.4 SSM?

Oh wait,

Yet again $1=1Eur.
No, VAT does not explain it.
Some companies never learn.
