No, In camera OS control is never an option if the Lens has its own switches, same as AF/MF switches.

Any Lens attached via the L2 that has manual control switches is controlled by the switches as in any other camera.
You can't have the Lens OS switch turned off, but at the same time turn it on in...

Last night we finally had somewhat clear skies, not ideal but we'll work with what we can get.
So glad for focus peaking! OS=off MF=on M=mode, 1/100 sec, F8, ISO=800 @ 400 mm thru the L2.

Right now is perfect viewing as the it is directly opposite the sun and well lit.
I plan to do so with the Sigma 120--400 and expect reasonably good results...just waiting for clear night!

While the Sigma HSM will AF just great only with the L2, No;, the TC will not work with AF on the L1 or on L2 for AF. However for MF it just may although Sigma says it is not supported.

Yes it has great Auto focus system and the two modes of OS work very well and will work on all Nex cameras with the L2 adapter.
DG = Means its 35FF lens (not a DC=crop lens) So you get...

Been using the Sigma 120-400 as it has OS and has very good quality per cost compared to G lens (that doesn't have OS).
Using it with the L2 to get the PD AF that works really well.
