My copy does not do that on my E-M5 - it focuses instantly.Does it only happen to close subjects or even a few feet away? Try to turn the distance dial on the lens to see if it helps!

Did you try to re-format the card and doing so should be able to fix the card error.

I bought the 60 macro lens 2 weeks before the 45-175 lens and I was so surprised that the hood for the lumix lens works perfectly fine on the 60 macro. :)

look at this image, this is shot at full zoom at 200mm. It looks very good to me and can be printed even larger than 4x6, probably at 8x10 and still looks...

Yes, it could be when it is used in daylight and only make 4x6 prints and I doubt you can tell the difference between a DSLR and P&S. :)

Could you tell me if the 35mm f1.4 takes very sharp pics at wide open or needs to be stopped down a little bit?? Thanks! Wish your samples were little bit larger!!
-
What are you trying to say here??
-

Yeah! I got a new one as well off Ebay a few days ago. It does rattle like all the Panny's OIS lenses. I like mine so much cause it is so small and lightweight than my old 45-200mm lens. I was also...
-
Yes you can. Under Rec mode menu>select "stabilizer" then you will see options are "OFF", "Mode1", "Mode2", "Mode3". Simply select the "OFF" setting for turning off the OIS. I had a GH2 by the way.

Of course the problem is in the lens, I think the blur problem is the combination of using OIS with Panny cameras (it could be the harsh shutter on Panny's) and less problem with Olympus's. Most...

You should give eye-fi card a try! I've been using eye-fi cards more than a year. I'm happy with it. I don't know what so special about the FreshAir card?

My copy is similar to yours. I can never get a sharp pics at 1.8 but looks very sharp at 2.8 and so on.I've sold my 45mm already and my new 60mm takes very sharp pics even at wide open. :)

These are the 5 things that OM-D wins me over:1) IBIS, 2) Weather sealed, 3) Quiet shutter, 4) solidness, 5) tilt screen (can shoot discreetly)
-
Ok, I would say the Lumix 20mm f1.7 is the sharpest even at wide open. One thing you didn't mention is does it has to be sharpest at wide open or can be any aperture??!!
-
I don't know if you can see the exifs from these images. Or you can see the exifs on my album page? Anyway, I shots 2 pics with jpeg with -1 sharpness and -1 low reduction. iso 6400 and iso 12800. :)

Didn't you own a GH2 or Olympus m4/3 camera before? What happened to them? I've sold my GH2 and bought a E-M5 which I think it takes better jpeg images and I like the IBIS and quiet shutter very...

All were shot handheld in jpeg with no PP. Used built in filters for the color. It is a very sharp lens even at wide open and the lens is light and small. I am very happy with it and consider...
