OK, full disclosure. I am an Olympus retiree who gets a monthly pension check from them. I think we are going to get a high end replacement to the E-5 which will have an EVF. For a lot of folks,...

Seth, check your email. Did you receive the second lens?

I will buy an E-7 with an EVF. I hope it is not $1995, but the regular $1696 of E-5 and E-3 opening price points.

I bought mine off eBay. Had one bad experience which eBay corredted and of course the good experience getting the D3 I have now.

I just checked out the G-40 on eBay and it looks like it is for older film cameras. I hear that older flashes are incompatible on newer cameras because of higher voltage of the older cameras.

Wow, beautiful. Maybe you should record along side the video pro with the E-5 and post the results.

Dittoes to the last two responses. I have used the E-5 for video and it is not optimal for this application. I use it for 10 second clips during engagement sessions.
For the wedding themselves, I...

Hey, Jim. I own a D3 and one of the reasons for picking that camera was that it had two aspect ratios: 2/3 and 4/5. I largely shoot with 4/5 because it matches my deliverables in my wedding...
