I have the D600 and for walk around mostly use the 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 VR which is really quite nice and a good range, the VR is very good so the 3.5-4.5 speed is almost always fine. I have a 50 1.4,...

I use and like 500px, I also have a site on Smugmug which I like very much, but 500PX is looking like a more and more competitive. Smugmug is still easier to manage though, at least for now.
