  • Created discussions 70-300mm AF stops working
This morning my favorite 70-300mm won't autofocus anymore. It says klik, klik in auto modus and a soft rumble in MF. It seems the AF motor locks somehow. Besides returning it to Olympus for repair,...

  • The main reason not to buy the E-620 now is because the alternatives are way better in low light conditions. As a matter a fact it's the one thing i don't like about the E-620. It's almost...
  • As already mentioned it's correct the E400 has a CCD Kodak sensor. I love the Olympus colors and also see a difference in colors of the E400 (Kodak) versus the E620 (Panasonic) but i don't prefer...

  • I use it for product photography for our webshop. It still does a fine job. Just recently made these pictures.
  • and will keep using it as long as i don't feel the need to buy something else. I do have to admit i had some problems in the past taking pictures in dimmed light condition. But since i have lenses...
  • I agree. It must have been a bad copy. Lets face it even dpreview tested a higher resolution for the e620 without visible moiré compared to the e30. So if the e30 is sharp the e620 is even sharper.
  • Replied in One I like.
There's no reason to be modest! I like the birds and the panoramic view. Nice shots!
  • I like this thread and the pictures posted. It's difficult to say which one is best, but i do like this one: And for many other reasons, this one: or this one: or this one: this one: or...
  • Sorry, forgot to mention that i use all AF points and H, because i don't want to miss the action although i almost always take one shot. For jpeg i use large superfine. And yes i use almost all...
  • Most of the time i shoot in raw. In bad weather conditions or dark places the E620 tend to underexpose so i correct this. I add some noisereduction afterwards, setting in camera is set to low or...
