Does Adobe offer any sort of "Upgrade Insurance" for people who just purchased LR3 less than a month ago? Some companies will not charge for the upgrade for new users who purchased the then current version just prior to the release. Does Adobe do this?
I bought LR3 from Adorama just a couple of weeks ago. If I had known that LR4 would be released this soon, I would have waited to purchase.
If Sigma has any real hope of selling large quantities of this camera, then they will have to offer it in a Nikon and Canon lens mount version. People have large investments in their lens systems, either Nikon or Canon. Sigma should leverage those bases by doing what they do with their lenses, make the camera available to be compatible with the two largest lens bases. Only then will the camera be given a hard look by people with other camera systems.
The chart right above the Image Processing Features section isn't labeled. I'm hoping it is the RAW file buffer size. If that is true, then this camera has a nice jump in buffer size.
I wish the Camera had retained two CF card slots and added the XQD as a third. I don't even think anyone has an XQD card available yet, so that means for early adopters they are reduced to just one usable card slot.
