Lupins start with the letter L, don't enter things if you're going to disrespect the rules.

Wilfried HKG: Strange ... Fruit Salad is food, which starts with F, but got disqualified. Did I do something else wrong? Was it the mint leaf on top?

Wilfried

It's not really a type of food that starts with the letter f. I understand the confusion, but it's really a whole category of food, apples-a, bananas-b, do you see where this is leading? After this whole series finishes, maybe we'll go at it again and just let everyone do what they want.

That means that the host should also accept a photo of the Earth because all foods are created or live in it. Right?
Sorry, I am not interested in this one.

Happy to clear it up, I was just bored trying to come up with e-foods, it was almost as hard as d-foods. So my examples were carried away, I went to change them in the challenge, but I can't change them since it has already started.

In reply to:

LouM: The rules were very general. I submitted "English Trifle", a well know classic desert. See: http://www.google.com/search?q=english+trifle&hl=en&prmd=imvnse&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=VQ95T-GqJbH9iQKQyei9DA&ved=0CEMQsAQ&biw=1508&bih=979 . It was disqualified. The stated reason indicated that basic food items onlyyh applied. If this was intended, the rules should have stated so.

The challenge is for edible e-foods. Just because you put the word English in front of it doesn't make it an e food, it is a t-food hence the trifle part. A dessert would be accepted ie: eclair. If the challenge were B-Foods and you entered British Toffee, it would be DQ'd, it would still be toffee.

Why would I DQ somebody for explaining their own image, or commenting on it? I encourage everyone to comment on each others work and explain their own, as well. Though if auntie ginzy is commenting on her own work to avoid commenting on somebody else's she will be DQ'd.
