The low light ain't problem for me. It's when I crank up the ISO value and the noise sky rockets mainly because the small sensor. But it's a small sensors so no surprise there :)

The old workhorse seems to trigger or enchange the passion for photography in many cases.
My opinion is that the successor XZ-2 haven't had same kind ans as wide effect to the users :)

V3 seemed slower in virtual environment. So it seems to require moore oomph in my experience.

That's true. I just used my friends E-PM1 for very shortly and first thing that came to my mind where the heck is all the familiar buttons/controls. Just shows how you get used to specific control...

How about the lack of external controls?
E-PM1 seems to have them even less than XZ-1. No mode dial and no controlring (of course beacuse it's mft)

Personally I have had the best success with external flash (bounce light or not) triggered with XZ-1 own flash 1/64. Using Mode M locked A,S and P values and setting the flash power with few test...

My opinion is that test scene needs one bigger object with decent amount of details. Like Baileys bottle in the old scene.
