Most cameras can have a problems with reds. Not up on it lately, but canons were notorius at blown reds, much more so than Nikons.

1 yes 2 yes, plus it takes into account the FL of the lens on the camera 3 I don't know

Nikon Auto ISO in manual mode and the front and rear dials do the same thing as TAV.

Actually, Phils reviews were never known for artistic shooting. Workman and useful come to mind. Todays images have more than enough useful information to make a informed purchasing descision, as...

It is a great deal. Whats unfortunate is that it is marketed so poorly that the price has dropped to a point where there cannot be much profit in it for Pentax. I've always like Pentax cameras, a...

Kill Devil Hills Wright Bros Monument, near there the Sand Dunes park, A trip to the Hatteras light house, Manteo, the Elizibeathan gardens. This is just a start, so much to do there.

The Sigma will be better at 35, its a prime, the zoom will obviously give you the wide options. I would go with the prime. Especially low light. Depends on what you will shoot the most. Here is a...

The D600 is the third highest rated camera by DXO. Two points behind the D800E (96) and 1 point behind the D800 (95). DPreview gave it an 86 and a gold medal. It really only trails the D800 in...

Its got better IQ with 36 incredible MP for landscape. Its a pro body, with lots of fairly significant advantages over the D600.
Having said that, the D600 is in my opinion the second best...

And can assure you it is. Keeper rate on birds is identical.

And frankly, the D700 AF is NOT any better. Same keeper rate. And the IQ is better in every possible way on the D600. I use my D700 so infrequently I am seriously considering selling it. The D600...

And sometimes they are just different. I notice once in awhile exposure is a bit different shot to shot. Not often. Pretty much with every camera I've owned, from the D70, the D300, D3, and D700...

Look, if you back the image off to what is a reasonable viewing size, the image is great. Incredible detail on the bird. The D7100 is like the D800. Its a printers camera. If you dive into pixel...
