For what it's worth, I've switched from B+Ws to Formatt HiTech filters and holder. I've been very happy with their ease of use and they are about a third the price of Lees. My reason for shifting...

Lee generally has a blue cast, B+W a magenta cast. Both are easily corrected using PS white balance or similar tool. Don't worry about IQ, both products you mentioned are high quality. Decide...

The most likely cause is a light leak. Make sure you close the view finder window. The D800 ( I have one) is especially susceptible to light coming in the view finder. You didn't mention which...

Thanks for the detailed response. I'm leaving Wed for a road trip to the NW (Washington). For now I'll continue to treat my histogram as I have and experiment with EC. When I get back, I'll...

Jack,
On my camera the histogram indicates under exposure (right side of histogram curve ends about 3/4 of the way in) unless I apply EC, typically +.67 or +1.0. Would that be suffcient evidence...

I went from a D300s to the D800e and found it underexposes significantly. I generally use +.67 exposure comp, though even +1 works well. Makes no difference whether using Matrix, Center or Spot...

You might find Thom Hogan's discussion of this subject (DX vs FX) on his blog of interest.

Had the same experience recently when we took a friend to a local butterfly world. I had my 800e, 24-70 2.8 and a couple of other lenses. I'm fiddling with settings and cursing as I'm changing...

Beautiful image. I'll be there next month (May). Any suggestions on were to stay or other tips to maximize the trip?

Flickr has many film centered forums (groups) with some terrific discussion. If you have a specific camera or type (Hasselblad, Leica, MF, 35MM. 6x6, polaroid, etc.) there's a group for...

The above post was directed at the OP, I just replied in the wrong place.--Jimhttp://jmlphotography.smugmug.com/

Sorry for my ignorance, but since the color cast varies by the subject and length of exposure, would a profile be able to handle that? Would a profile be more effective than clicking the WB tool...

Had to comment. I was given a 503CW and a 203FE along with a ton of lenses and other accessories. Both have probably had less than a dozen rolls of film run through them, mostly by me. I know I...

What I have found is that flash will download to IE or FF, but not both. You have to choose. I'd be happy if someone tells me I'm wrong and how to make it work with both browsers.

This happens on occasion. You need to clear your cache (see tools menu) and restart PS. When you open your files the cache will start building again but you will be able to see your images.

First, thank you for your time. As it turns out I've seen those and unfortunately they don't provide the answer to my problem.
The good news is that I found a solution. There is another setting...

For the record, the advertised fix for Outlook 2007 is:
Outlook

ClickMacro Settings.
Click the options that you want:

Unfortunately this fix is for Office 2002 and the steps aren't possible for 2007, at least as far as I can tell. If you think I just missed something, please let me know.

I have a PC with Outlook 2007. About a week ago I suddenly started getting the following popup message every time I open Outlook:
