In my opinion this shot, while being great, doesn't meet the criteria and should have been disqualified. To maintain the integrity of Challenges rules should be enforced.
By the way, I didn't enter this Challenge. -- andrew www.pbase.com/abott

...with Chuck. Doesn't seem to fit the challenge (great shot though and I'd be interested to know how you got it....and whether you were wearing a seatbelt at the time:))

Nice enough shot and I always appreciate an explanation of processing, but in this case you'd have been better spending a minute reading the challenge criteria:(

This was my favourite image in the challenge (and I say this as the guy who came 9th).
Cheers,
Andrew
Great shot. Clearly the best in the field (and I say this as the person who came third).
Cheers,
Andrew
Great photo and deserving winner. However, The Maldives are in the Indian Ocean.....not that I really care; a tropical island is a tropical island.

Look again, it's right there for all to see.

Very creative
Possibly the best image I've ever seen in a DPR challenge. A thoroughly deserving winner.
Cheers
Andrew
ps. Can't believe that two mean donkeys had the gall to give you 0.5 out of 5
Well seen and taken.
Amazing image and very appropriate to the topic. I'm going to Hanoi in a few weeks, and after seeing this shot will pack my tripod.
A lovely shot. It staggers me that four people could rate this either 0.5 or 1 stars.
Seems a little off the challenge theme though: the traffic is flowing smoothly. No traffic jam here. Great shot all the same.
Great shot.
Liked it so much I thought I just had to leave a comment:)
Chris
Let me be the first to congratulate you. Great shot - a very worthy winner (I liked your other shot also....it probably deserved to be ranked higher).
Cheers,
Andrew
...but IMHO you've gone a bit overboard with the post-processing on her eyes. Probably would have scored higher otherwise.
Cheers
