On Wine Glasses 2 in the (Semi-) Pro Equipment - special rules; read carefully! challenge (3 comments in total)

I used a Canon EOS 600D with the Canon EF-S 55-250mm kit lens. This cost me about R8000.

I further used a tripod (R250) and the a Canon Speedlite 430 EX Mk II (R2700) with a plastic diffuser (R80).

Non-camera accessories were an eye-dropper (R10), syringe (R10) and wine glasses (no cost as I used what I had around the house.

The total of R10,800 is the equivalent of about $1225.

I used a Canon EOS 600D with the Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II kit lens. This cost me about R8000, plus about R250 for the tripod - the mentioned LED torch was free as a promotional giveaway.

The total of R8250 is the equuivalent of about $990.
