  • Replied in Ladies - M2
    Well done.
  • Three photos are shown from Omaha, NE where I was attempting to capture the slow changes to the old downtown area as old meets new, ruin and renovation. I attempted to use the keystone effect in ...

  • Replied in Trifecta:
I like the idea but I would drop the Q line and just incorporate anything the Q offers into a full-frame T. The lines I would like to see from Leica are: X (all fixed lens options regardless of ...
  • Replied in NEXT M ?
Fair enough! It doesn't matter to me much whether the images are software corrected if the end result is excellent. At some point (soon) I presume software will provide DOF simulation at a high ...
  • Replied in NEXT M ?
There aren't any miracles to be seen here in the lens design. Software corrections seem to be required, as with many lenses that aim to achieve small size and excellent image quality.
  • I'll start by saying I've no brand allegiance. I've owned a lot of Nikon gear (D200, D700, D4, D4s and a bunch of lenses), a Sony RX1, and a Leica M-P (240) with lenses. Was the state of each ...
  • Sony RX1 for sale with EVF Perfect condition-- approximately 500 shots I am the original owner, purchased new at Sony Style store in Denver, CO. All original packaging included. I will also include ...
  • I own an RX1 as well as M-P (240) with 35 Summilux ASPH. RX1 outperforms the Leica combo in outright image quality though with slower lens. I don't expect the situation to be any different with the ...
  • Having moved from a Nikon (D4s) kit I do miss some aspects of that system for landscapes. I miss the L-bracket setup, the wireless remote release, long exposure work, high ISO capability, my 14-24 ...
  • Nikon 14-24 and 58 1.4 both sold. A few items are still available, post updated.
  • I own an M-P and not an M8. I don't own the Zeiss lens. I also do not own any Fuji gear at this time. I don't believe this is at all relevant to what I've stated since I've not claimed to have ...
  • Read what I wrote. Unless comparing two cameras with the same lens and sensor combination you can't isolate sensor glass thickness as the variable that will indicate the resolution of the output ...
  • Yes I'm serious. Crop factor has nothing to do with resolution. Sensor glass thickness is going to have nothing to do with resolution in comparing these two different cameras. Unless you're going ...
  • I like very much the first image. The juxtaposition of the dark and light halves of the image combined with the near symmetry of the vertical elements is very interesting.
  • I would not expect images shot with the Leica M8+Zeiss 35/2 Biogon to out resolve a Fuji X-T1+23mm given equal test conditions. Black and white or color processing would have nothing to do with it ...
  • It would be very difficult to judge "acceptable" sharpness by viewing these images. A tripod mounted camera with adequate target and clearly defined focusing method and focus point would be ...
  • Thanks for this review. The balet photos are very nice. I was looking at every review I could find on this lens recently to make a decision between it and the 35 Summilux FLE. I ended up going with ...
  • I have a few pieces of my Nikon kit left for sale along with a Sony RX1 with EVF. Nikon D4s-- $5500 http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/pho/4841714330.html Nikkor 200 f2 VRII-- $5400 http://inlandem ...
  • You attack those who disagree (including questioning my understanding of language). It has nothing to do with owning or not owning this lens, as I don't own it and stated this. Putting a coke ...
