I have done it myself and I can tell ;)I am suspected that this is caused by the cement that link a group of lenses, maybe its been damaged due to bad storing or age factor, or simply a drop !

I am sure it is not reflections as you can see it in certain place from different view angels.my worries if this thing can cause deterioration in the image quality at least at certain situations

regarding the Focus check LV mode, the lens is working as a charm but again thats not a practical mode to use your lens with all the time !
