There is one thing that is very consistent with Google products: They are all over-engineered. If you just want a simple photo album Google is not the place to use.
They have even over-engineered...

That was the number I was looking for. Switch to m4/3 and for 520g you can get 600mm equivalent. I'm now waiting for the next Panasonic body and then I'll make the switch.
