How well do neoprene shoulder pads/straps hold up? Do they become too bouncy/elastic after a while or do they hold up? Most of the time I'll have my d600 +70-200 VRII on it so it's an above normal...

I have the tarmac evo 8, might not be the smallest and lightest but it'll fit your body +70-200 in the horizontal position. Love the side access doors.

Thanks to Peter and you, I have these great inputs! Duh, just because that extra connector they offer comes with a tripod bolt it does not mean I have to use it.! Since It'll be hanging on my left...

I wonder how that dual connection on the carry speed (one body + lens) will work out, specially in portrait mode.
-
They don't have the adaptors, so that's a no go.
Since my last post I've ran across the Joby, I think I'm going to choose between this and the Carry speed but leaning more toward the CS. People...

That's what I was hoping but according to their tech support/CS it's not reversible that way. I specifically asked if I can sling it on the right shoulder for a lefty config and they say I can if I...
-
I asked Sandisk tech support the same question and according to the tech there is no electronics in the adapter and it just extends or adapts the connections. So assuming he is right, there should...

I was originally considering Optech's utility strap to use on my D600/70-200VRII combo mounted on the lens but to use it as a left handed orientation I'd have to reverse the strap (grippy side up)...

Thanks for your insight I really appreciate it, I can tell you now that I am not a better photographer than you, yes I've been doing it for over 30+ years but nothing serious. Yes I'm well aware of...

Thanks again Craig!
I've considered PS-ing a UWA image to add the fisheye look but I thought you can't get the super extra wide perspective from a UWA that a fisheye can give you?
-
Thanks Craig! I do like the fisheye look but I'm trying to do a 2 for 1. Fisheye and lanscape lens in one. I know I will be keeping a lot of fisheye images in their original form but just in case...

Thanks for the suggestion Narddogg81 and Placation101 but I also looked at the sam/rok 14mm and I thought Ken R (ok nobody shoot me!) gave it a pretty bad review. I know some people rave about it...
-
Thanks! That's exactly what I wanted to know - how the edges looked like after defishing. Now let's take the test a little bit further, since the FOV of the defished image is wider than the FOV...

I must have forgotten to check the subscribe box because I missed your reply.
Anyways, I'm deciding between a used sigma 15, Nik 16, or the 18-35D, here's my...

I did but like I said I really don't want to spend to much on a UWA or fisheye, maybe if I can find it used then that'll be great. I know the G definitely outshines the D per reviews.
Thx!

So I have a 70-200 VRII, 85 1.8G, 50 1.8D, 24-85 VR for my D600. I’m thinking the next investment is an UWA zoom/prime or fisheye. I don’t foresee a lot of use for this particular lens but I want...

I've been searching for info on this lens and there's really not a whole lot of info out there. Good thing I found this thread. I was primarily looking for a UWA for my D600 for landscapes and your...

Thanks for the info but just wanted to confirm that you have to uninstall the nikon app for this to work.

CAn you please give us an update, I'm thinking of getting a TC for my VRII. I'd really like to go with a 2x but if people are really not getting excellent/good results considering realistic...
