Opinion: - best value I've seen,
- good colors,
- good detail in high contrast pics
- great AF in good light,
- good macro,
- great programmable shortcut buttons (I can't live without them now),
- great metering
- great as Point and Shoot camera for novices
- good lens,
- uses AA and CF cards,
- great and fast playback of images (can scroll through images as fast as you can press the button!!),
- lots of manual controls
- very fast menus
- strong flash
- good shot to shot speed, good buffer
- great compatibility with different brands of cf cards
- best implementation of the simple 2 / 10s timer I have seen, you get to appreciate it the more you use it

Problems: - On my particular camera, putting it down on the table with any more force than a gentle placement can sometimes cause camer a to lose power. It is probably just my camera, and I don't mind, just gotta be real gentle
- blue tint with flash shots, can be fixed with a colored filter over flash window
