I have it, it's the lens I use the most on my NEX. I think the 24mm (35mm FF equivalent) focal length is pretty much the most versatile focal length you can get. 50mm equivalent is considered good...

True, I shoot RAW though so in-camera settings don't really matter. Color rendition by the lens are pretty impossible to improve by post-processing though so you have to have a good lens and sensor...

Thanks guys, you've answered what I wanted to know. Now comes the difficult part, to buy or not to buy :P. The only downside I find with the camera is that the colors seem a bit bland and dull...

I really recommend the Zeiss 24mm, the sharpness is amazing, and it seems to produce some great color as well. Not cheap, but well worth the money, especially if you can find it second hand.
