Preview is an image viewer/photo editor in Mac OS. Howard M saw that I had a Mac so suggested using it to convert the file type. Does that help? Mike

If you mean half press for focus, then fully press for shutter - yes. It behaves exactly the same as the camera shutter. You can also lock it down for continuous shooting. Mike
