Yawn, why would anyone spend a grand on a DX camera with a permanently affixed and fixed focal length lens? There are so many much better choices in the mirrorless category.

I have purchased several refurbished items from Cameta over the past 5 years and in every case the stuff was like-new. Most recently I purchased a refurb OM-D outfit from them and I couldn't tell...

The SB-N5 was made specifically for the V1 and fits it like a glove. Since it has been discontinued along with the V1 I would grab one while you still can.

Great write-up, thank you for taking the time to put it together. I agree with all of your conclusions on the Nikon V1. The real appeal/push for a lot of us came when Nikon started their fire sale...

I ordered a strap from DSPTCH because it appealed to several requirements for me. I hate the little metal strap dongles that Nikon hangs on the eyelets. The DSPTCH comes with 2 sets of attachment...

I had a GH2 along with a bunch of lenses and recently switched to the OM-D. I ended up getting rid of the 7-14mm due to the blue color cast issue. I used the funds from the 7-14mm to buy some...

I would recommend the power zoom version. It's much smaller, has a metal mount and makes the camera super portable. I use one on my Olympus OM-D and am very satisfied with the image quality.

If cost is a factor buying the old model at/near it's end of life can really save some bucks. The HX20 is on sale for $299 now and I found a like-new open box at Best Buy for $249. I had a...

I buy from Cameta because they extend the warranty to 1 year instead of 90 days.

Such a good deal at $99 and free shipping on valentine's day that I bought one even though I already have the previous version. I'm just going to put it away for a rainy day.

I have both for my EM-5 and they are both great lenses. The strength of the 12-50mm is the wide end and the strength of the 14-150mm is the tele end. I think you'll find that image quality is...

I have the Panasonic 14-42 power zoom lens on my OM-D and love it. Its the same size as a pancake lens. Image quality for me has been excellent. Its my favorite walk around lens. I also bought the...

Refurbished EM-5 with 14-42mm is $879, then sell the lens and you end up with an EM-5 for around $775 USD. If you buy from Cameta Camera they extend the warranty to a full year and offer free...

Thanks for that suggestion, I'm not sure how I ended up in this mode but what I going now is that after taking a picture the shot shows up in the EVF for a few seconds then switches to the LCD and...

Thanks for the suggestion but that means you have either the viewfinder or LCD only enabled at one time. If using the viewfinder the LCD doesn't come at all unless you press the viewfinder button.

I received my new EM-5 this weekend. I am a long time Panasonic G1/GH1/GH2 user. Here is my EM-5 issue and I am hoping someone can offer a solution... I almost always use the viewfinder to frame...

Less plastic in the construction, higher resolution LVF, dual control wheels that are pro feeling, the single control wheel on my GH2 feels like plastic junk.

The RX100 is nice but $600! That's more than a DSLR and I can get three HX9's for that price. Also with the short zoom range it's not the same type of camera. Those interested in the HX9 want...

I just got one this past weekend myself, ran across an open box at my local Best Buy for $205 in like new condition. Since I had a few gift cards to use I only had to pay $185 after sales tax. ...
