No, though from previous discussions in other forums (Nikon?) I think I remember reading that Leica might do this.I know that Nikon don't...and to be perfectly honest I rely less on "optimal"...

True...I forgot to mention that. I wish it was an RGB histogram, though with the screen size and EVF size, getting it in there may be difficult.
-
That's a bit of a shame. I guess it shouldn't affect me that much but a RAW histogram would be preferable.
-
I guess I'll try this at home later...but I wonder whether these settings will affect the histogram?
They do in my D700 but not sure whether it will affect a Live View histogram?
So if you use the...

Thanks Harry. I didn't know that but I will give it a try. My "only" other options are to stick to LR4.4 or go Adobe Photoshop CC. Photoshop CC isn't really my preferred option.

Not so fast for us Fuji X-Trans users. I'll post more later but I see more artefacts than with LR4.4. This is with sharpness reduced to 0, but I'll have to try a few more tests first.

Hi Dan,
I've contacted the website too but I wasn't able to download the trial version - as that option doesn't seem to be available.
Have you tried it yourself? How did you get a copy?
Cheers

Not sure if this is related but various other clutter written to the SD card seems to affect performance.
As with the previous poster (above me),...

Another fw update? Fuji are keeping themselves busy!
Thanks for the headsup :-)

I don't know if it's "the monochrome" camera but it certainly does very well in your hands. I frequently see good shots but yours are fantastic. Very impressed. I hope you won't mine if I link to...

I got caught out by this too. I think when they say "autorotate:true", it means that you keep the camera in the standard orientation and it will show the photos the right way up regardless of...

Again, YMMV.
My D700 has never needed a service (other than a courtesy mirror clean).
Twice (with the Fuji lens cap on, and the camera left in macro focus), the camera complained about needing to...

With moving subjects (kids, etc) unless it's extremely dark, the manual focus with focus peaking is surprisingly good.
The peaking allows you (not the camera) to choose what to put into focus, so...

Hi there,
I'm a second generation member of the Fuji X-series family.
You'll probably hear grumbles from people that actually have issues, while people that are content with their equipment either...

I think the implementation is good.
I don't find it awkward and I think it's quite fast.
The only thought I have is that the aperture ring itself is a bit close to the camera body but I guess...

I still need to take meaningful (high IQ) photos but my point was actually to do with high ISO output looking a bit plasticky - should have mentioned that.
Lower ISOs are looking good so far, from...
