Jogger: I dont think I've ever seen a Samsung mirrorless camera (or compact) in real life.. and i live in a really touristy area. Their phones are everywhere though.

the problem is DSLR is within reach of anyone now. go to a wedding, how many people hold a DSLR, use the LCD screen and move around in front of you. LOL! oh and you can't argue with them because they are PROS too! i have no problem shooting a wedding with a 550D but who is gonna pay? NOOOOOOOOOOBODY~~~

Japan has a very low on those natural resources on their land. I will called this big time terrorism that will look Boko Haram and alquida combined like a chiken.

The Name is Bond: An 85mm is not for headshots or even head and shoulder shots.

It's for head and half torso at the most.

You need a 135mm equiv minimum for headshots.

If you don't believe me then try it with your consumer zoom. It makes a huge difference.

oh....Bond....Mr. Bond~~~

Robgo2: The Leica T will likely sell well to its target market, i.e. those who are seeking status and/or great lenses. However, M lenses can be used on far more capable cameras than the T. T lenses are, on the other hand, only usable on the T. Anyone who chooses a Leica T over a Sony A7 is in need of therapy IMO.

whoever buys this and thinks it is a real Leica needs a therapy IMO.

bakhtyar kurdi: Rolls is for someone who traded his soul for material, then he discovered that he is so tiny and small and empty, what to do? he thought if he rides a big and expensive car he will become bigger, but he got smaller except in the eyes of those that they wish but don't know where and how to trade their souls for a Rolls, Sony Nikon Canon Olympus and othes even Hasselblad is for those that stand behind their pictures , Leica and Rolls are for those that hide behind their cars and cameras.
And Honda Civic is for those that use it for transportation, it is simple.

what?! read what you wrote over again then post...

are you saying rolls and leica owners need to see doctors?

In reply to:

BG_CX3_DPREVIEW: great,

a Rolls is a car with 4 tires and an engine, what, all cars have a 4 tires and an engine, why does a Rolls cost 10x as much?

A Leica is a camera with a screen and a lens, what all cameras have a screen and a lens, why does a Leica cost 10x more.

You simply need to have a niche product that has all posible features, specifically hand made, which simply outperforms all others, without being able to tell you why by reading specs.

Great job don eLeica, price is what it should be, for those who can afford it; if a Rolls passes , i stop and look at it, if a Leica passes, i stop and look at it with great envy.

Rolls are handmade and certainly not made in Japanese or used Japanese companies to help build...

Leica digital cameras....do you want me to continue?

Also you would stop for this Leica?! seriously?!

JackM: Love it. Say what you will about the price, but I'm glad they didn't half-ass it with a re-badged Panasonic m4/3. This is a real Leica.
