HubertChen: Maybe when seeing how big Full Frame Lenses suitable for sensor shift image stabilization are will cause a good thing: A lot of those who cried for a Pentax Full Frame camera for so long might realize that APS-C has its place. It provides a great balance: You can bring a complete range of lenses in a shoulder bag versus a full fledged photo back pack!

I buy FF for work.
I buy NEX for fun.
I buy NEXUS 5 for random @$@#$.

FF is the future and Pentax is going the right direction.

all this time i dread of FF pentax that would look just like the MZ-S but not anymore because this prototype looks so much better. this one doesn't look like any other current pentax cameras. the design is very simple and looks JUST right!

i will start buying back pentax lenses now. i miss my FA 85.

Canon is actually the host....

Tonkotsu Ramen: You should add that they reduced the minimum focusing distance by 15 cm (from 30cm to 15cm) on the wide end, and 5cm (from 40cm to 35cm) on the long end, for the 16-50

good improvement indeed

Donnie G: To all of you techies who say that you can already do, with equipment you already own, everything that the Canon CS100 is suppose to do, I say you are absolutely right. I can too. However, the CS100 isn't designed for you and me. It's made for the billions of low tech and no tech folks out there who used to buy billions of disposable and cheap P&S cameras before the camera phone came along. Those non-photographers are still out there, and that's where the potential sales are for this device. Would I buy this device for myself? No! But, my photography and tech challenged friends and family members might buy several. There are billions of them and only a few hundred million of us techies. Is Canon on to something, or on something? Time will tell. :)

P.S. please don't take that I am challenging you. I am just giving my 2 cents. I have read many of your posts/replies and you a definitely one of the knowledge people on DP that I look up to.

I agree but when a non-techy can understand NFC, this and that...they probably can become more familiar with technology and realize HEY! i don't need this since I can transfer/share photos/video via other costless methods. Nevertheless, i don't even think non-techy guys will buy many of these because they are not interested especially with such a price tag.

I'd rather have Canon comes out with their smart tv box which can download photos/video from cameras wireless and automatically uploads to social medias the app must allow users to play around the format of "webpages" so everyone has a unique presentation. if this can be done, i will buy it and a smaller tv as a photo frame at home.
