audijam: for a good 5 seconds i thought this NX1 has EF mount. good job on copying Canon's lens.....
it won't be completely dead. Knowing this machine will get me 4k video but that won't convince me to jump over since switching from one system to another is a BIG investment. However, for people are about to start photography/videography this is definitely a machine worth to consider. HOWEVER, has samsung come out with pro-grade glasses yet? i don't know since i haven't tried samsung camera system yet. if i do bring a samsung to shoot a paid project - i will be fired on the spot.

audijam: no more LCD peeping....awesome.
part of the beauty of shooting film is you don't really know how it turns out and this camera captures this feature. awesome! but i still can't afford a leica so will continue with my EOS3.
to me, an new innovation should separate CMOS module from the body itself so users can always upgrade the module but keep the same body. just like we could use films from different manufactures.
WHAT?! SAY WHAT?! your viewfinder doesn't reflect what exactly your lens sees so what you see IS NOT what you get!
dude! the frameline is just a guidance for you to measure the subject distance!
i worked on films and i never knew how images would turn out until my negatives were developed. okay i am not skillful camera guy :(
oh...rangefinder cameras are not SLRs. you don't get what you see :)
GXR is a good one but i still like the look of SLR and ergonomics. R8/R9 with digital back module is a good one and would like to see Canon to follow.
no more LCD peeping....awesome.
just another panasoleicas......
alright! this is innovation! well done!
DAMN!!!!!!!!!!! this is sick!
okay i got a question. doe this new 24-105 help achieve "follow focus" when i move my camera around? OR.....only cameras with movie servo such as 7D2/70D can achieve it?
viking79: Canon should start buying sensors from Samsung so they can get 4k video in APS-C :) Is this really all Canon brings to the table after 5 years?
that's a score for samsung then...LOL!
you think japanese will buy @#%@#$ from korean?! it will never EVER happen.
Lawrencew: Ripoff UK pricing as per normal.EF-S 24mm is $149, but will be £179 in the UK. That means the UK price is £149+VAT. Whereas US buyers will be able to buy one for about £95 at today's exchanges rates.
UK retailers, you can thank Canon UK for sending me to DigitatRev et al instead of spending my money with you...
move to Scotland...maybe some magic will happen soon :)
Whitesands: I won't. Buy anything samsung again....My experience has been very poor reliability with their products.
you are not alone.
mmmm....are they gonna add RS in front of the name of cameras later?
please stop selling your forum
mpgxsvcd: Everyone believes SanDisk cards are the most reliable only because they say they are more reliable. I have 10 SD cards of various brands. Only the Crappy Eye-Fi cards have ever failed.
The Eye-Fi cards are very flimsy around the contact points so I expect them to fail. None of the other cards fail.
i get the same doubt too although i do use sandisk cards but my kingston cards never failed me. i buy sandisks just for the sake of peace of mind since i cannot afford to lose the content. having that said, i use kingston cards on half of the occasions too and they work just as great.
do you really need VC in a UW lens?
they should sell this in toys'r'us...
$199.99 + free memory card + travel bag + grip then I will buy one. I can accept 30fps for this package and give it to my baby girl as an expensive toy. LOL!
Ozyxy: this camera looks perfect for manually changing iso, f, shutter and exposure compensation! I wish all cameras were like this rather than require using the menus...
touch screen? i know where the dials are and i can see the numbers in my viewfinder. don't need a touch screen don't have time for that...LOL!
