Michael Leek: I had my entry - of the River Clyde - disqualified because the host decided my image wasn't recognisable as a river! Unbelievable! On the basis of this narrow, blinkered and stupid judgement the host of this challenge has decided that a vast number of rivers around the world are not rivers because in his crazy and ignorant opnion they DO NOT LOOK LIKE RIVERS!!!
My entry was disqualified for the same reason. I actually considered that my picture does not show both banks, therefore may not be recognizable as a river (some rivers are very wide), but the rules don't say that. The moderator could have saved us the trouble by having the rules say that. Anyway, I think some of the entries look more like creeks or streams. ;)
