I think you captured the hustle & bustle of the airport very well (the blurred images really work well). The city photo against the background make the overall photo a very good capture of a cityscape. Certainly among my top 10 pics in this challenge - congratulations

Frank, what a beautiful pic. My No1 choice and (together with twopossum's 'paste me') in a class apart from all the other entries. You give me inspiration to keep on trying.

On paste me in the In your bathroom challenge (2 comments in total)

Congratulations with your win. Both your entries were in my top 6 but personally I thought this was a much better pic than your winning entry and also I thought this picture (together with Torrejon's drainage) was in a class apart from all the other entries. The shallow DoF was handled very well as you maintained sharp focus on the entire head of the t/brush while the colourful blurred background really provides the punch to the picture

I was very impressed with your entry. A beautiful rendition in the true spirit of pictorialism. I think you certainly deserved to be in the top 10

An amazing high standard of photography. A pity that the competition is so tough that it made only second place - but it just shows the standard of entries

What can one say? I truly professional picture - subject matter, composition, technical aspects all of the highest standard. What really makes it for me is the vivid demonstration of the wonderworld of Fibonacci numbers - the unbelievable order that we find in nature. CONGRATULATIONS!

You managed to create a feel of an old 50's photo through unusual colour rendition. What makes the photo however, are the faces of your subjects. Very nice work!

Maybe you photo does not comply to the rules of the challenge and maybe the PP is over the top but it looks like a Rembrandt oil painting. The day that I can deliver an end result like this, I will be a very happy man. CONGRATULATIONS on a beautiful photo.

On Colours of Beirut in the Decaying Buildings challenge (1 comment in total)

A very worthy entry. This building really tells a story and the colour palette adds to the sense of decay. Congratulations on a beautiful picture.

I think this was one of the top entries. The rotting decay in the foreground against a backdrop of new industrialisation captures the mood very well. Pleasant composition in this panorama layout

On Hiroshima in the Decaying Buildings challenge (2 comments in total)

I thought this is an excellent entry; from the apt title of the pic to the forlorn atmosphere of dark decay against the washed out bleak sky. Technically a very satisfying result. I wonder how many voters actually take the trouble to look at the photo in its full size to evaluate technical competence. Crucial subject matter that is out of focus (unless it was planned to contribute to the overall result) should for instance be marked down in my view.

I agree with previous comments. How could anyone rate this photo at 0.5 or even 2.5. It is close to a masterpiece! The only negative comment could be that the variety in subject matter was somewhat limted but otherwise almost perfect. CONGRATULATIONS!
