One of the best thing to take its photo under the water is; jelly fish.

doesn't swim as fast even slower than a shrimp! Only around in calm days... All you need your composition skills.

Good work.

Dear Mr Gates,

Why don´t you shake hands with Adobe and start to have flash support for your mobile devices?

You know, you can beat the crap out all the "app, flapp, market, play etc..." stuff, dont you ?

Ben O Connor: YEEEEEEEEE....

NOW I CAN ATTACH MY 200 € WORTH 45MM F 1.8 PLASTIC LENS TO MY 15.000 $ (According to 43rumors.com) CAMERA !!!!!!

How hard, is to produce a camcorder, which can take 1080 (forget about 4K) video, stereo voice recording, and interhcgable lens under 1K (I mean price !!!!)

There are excellent cameras from various makers, already a semi pro cam from BlackMagic... So where is my everyday use camcordern whcih does not boils the sensor, does not ruin my cams shutter life...come on guys !

I don´t want to waste my electronic shutter then ;)

Sony, has a challenge waiting for itself. They have made a product segment that, considering hobbyists"only" and try to create an atmosphere like "hey consumer dude! Look pro's also using it!!"

Their biggest challenge is the existing system;DSLR! and second biggest challenge (according to price tag) a brand; LEICA! Third biggest challenge, is the MICRO FOUR/THIRD SYSTEM, which contains the most affordable products throughout the range.

Sony has teams of developers, market researchers, sales executives. I believe they consider their own risks.

İf this camere same as my lumia 1520, all folks here should take it serious. See some snapshots on my Flickr account if interested.

beautiful background blur, manual focusing. Only thing I can complain could be; lacking of physical accessories. You can use your iPhone
- lightmeter
- pro voice recorder
- pro gaming device.

1520 is so strong in both hard & software, I wish to see own accessories as Sony Xpreia family, and 3rd party stuff as iPhone...

Ben O Connor: 550£... Hopefully, it will be about 550€... Which is 50€ more than Oly 17mm1.8 (included lens hood)

wider, sharper, smaller... Hopefully it also has buılt in IS (Even my e-pm1 got in its body) and performs well. Not slow as pana-cakes. ( 14mm, 20mm)

And this time not just boring-ugly black only lens! It has also silver variety.

Man ! Its a great cam, nothin' to say about. It already has the top notch lens for 1" system. Its a Zeiss.

Actually If you own a v1 and all lenses, it would be more heavy and more expensive and worse F number!!!!!! So its a good deal really.

If it has to be full frame(I'd preferred Pentax 645), use a D800E, at F18.0 aperture, shutter speed at about 1/2 second ISO 100, in room light/ indirectly illuminated faces.

DONE !

the photographer takes peoples precious time, and we still can't see the ear from front (coz unnecessary DoF)

Just joking :) its a great work. I only sad that its a canon work :| :D

On Samsung NX mini First Impressions Review preview (564 comments in total)

I would hail this camera seriously, it has beautiful minimalist lines. So clean, very capable (1/16.000 shutter is twice faster than e-p5!!!) and 1" sensor size is a fine comprise between resolution/pocketablity.

HOWEVER,

Who cares brand a new mouth (NX-M is not Nikons 1 mouth according to review), and there are better cams with more pocketable and f1.8 at the 24mm with 20mpx 1" sensor. And rx10 puts both quality and price tag to the mount Everest!!.

But more and more importantly, who cares all !!! There is Panasonic GM-1 for best image quality/pocketabilty compromise. M4/3 offers tons of lens from various makers.

sorry Samsung, sad for your cash loose on this.

Hachu21: What's the point to make interchangeable lenses on a small sensor if they are not faster than the RX100 series???

"Its Wi-Fi connectivity and flip-up LCD suggest that it's aimed at a socially-driven user, someone who wants concert photos and pictures of friends and isn't too concerned about changing settings."
So i doubt it will be interested in swapping the lense...
"The 'selfie'-loving, socially-driven user is not likely to care whether the lens comes off or not "
+1

Another strange concept... designed better for asia market?

The great photographers also does not use cheap ace consumer cams ;)
