What I like about 1" ILC cam is encouraging to use TV lenses (C-mouth) on it, without vignetting (I hope!)

but what I don't understand is clearly, why there are less mpx than Sony 's ? I believe there will be wider lenses are on the way. However I am in M43 world, this is a nice stuff.

Ben O Connor: ANY THIRD PARTY PRODUCERS OUT THERE (metabones, sigma, etc.) PLEASE MAKE A BELLOWS HOOD FOR A M43 SYSTEM ALSO LOOKS COOL! AS THIS ONE HERE... PLEASE.

I hope I screamed loud enough that they'd all heard me !

Well, it is at the same time! You can´t nail such macros by just camera. But those shade, greater the distances (between lens & sensor) closer the image.

Kodak should know that, buyers of M43 also take care of the outlook if their camera. This Kodak model looks like an Olympus E-P1 from the first decade of 21st century!

I liked the fun effects that they introduced, and 400mm scope lens sounds well.

One thing amazes me that, Sony trusts its new products that they sent then to reviews almost immediate! Remeber that, this camera has not been on the shelves yet!

and of course special thanks to DPR, that they put very serious effort to inform customers around the globe.

My poor E-PM1 has 1/2 of a full frame !!! This one contains a few full frames inside, Crazy!

Bravo Sony.

Finally a great enthusiast cam that can stand for long years. It is one of the best combination of all specs which would be necessary for an enthusiast. Yet pocketable.

My only excuse is, I already have a PM1 and couple of lenses. And by purchasing a 17mm F 1.8 lens, I will have all I need. For smaller price I'll have bigger sensor & brighter at 35mm...

if I would not have this system a year ago, I would buy this cam and would interested with many accessories, such as filter adapter & uw housing. Sadly no hotshue on this, no place for external mix, for such video capable device. Congratulations.

Ben O Connor: And one thing is ILLOGICALLY interesting,

while Sony can offer same sensor with a knife sharp lens (its not razor sharp, coz there comes an Olympus with F 0,95 according to some rumors), while Nikon offers the same sensor with a chunky glass, which has a optical specs, smilar to the bottom of beers bottle!!! Yet none of those lenses are pocketable !!!!!!!

just very hard to believe :)

I like small numbers after "F" letter... Some says its relative, some does not agree... Lets not start a war from it :)

I would say

"dude, why not 24mm!! What is 28mm for Moses sake! "

but then I remembered that Sony has the best built-in panorama function. Sony wins.

PS. Hopefully they offers underwater housing as well.
