Wow I'm getting slammed here. "Horrible light", "missed the DR setting". I should of stayed lazy it seemed and not the time out of my day to post requested pictures. My original post was asking if...

It was my over all feeling after photo sessions that my EX-1 / 18-55 shots were better quality then my X100S shots. This is the quality of light I often shoot in. Normally I shoot hand held with a...

Ha ha yes being psychopathic and far too detailed prob go together. I'll look into that.

OK here is a sample. Nature light. Tripod mounted. IS turned off the 18-55. In all my test shots the X-100S had more contrast and was darker. I shot the E-X1 at ƒ4.5 here to compensate for the...

It seemed to me that I was getting better results with my E-X1 with my 18-55 Lens then with my X-100S so I just did a couple of simple comparison shots between the two cameras. Identical settings,...

Ha, the one on the X100S.
2nd fav is the 18mm 2.0. I like wide on the street and it is small and light.

Those are X100 I know, I just got the X100S so I have not had time to get web site worthy shots yet. At least you can see what the S is capable of. -Mick

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I must toss my hat into the ring. I have owned and loved every Fuji X camera so far, and they have been doing a great job of improving it with every new...

Let's nip this in the bud. I will not rent cloud software.
-
"We expected a higher degree of this type of reaction..." Yea Netflix anticipated a response ha ha.
-
I too prefer to own, not rent my products. Cloud is the latest wiz bang marketing thing. For GMail it does work for me. For my photo software it does not. The market will decide.
-
This move makes me WANT to bootleg PS. I always felt I should support the software I use. I can't get behind supporting this. Angry.

Also reviewing burst mode photos on the camera is unintuitive and slows me down. All burst mode photos have to be viewed THROUGH A SPECIAL MODE. One must push the bottom part of the Command Dial to...

Burst mode file management on Fuji X cameras - epic fail. I dislike it so much I almost never shoot in bust mode. This is one of the few areas that I still greatly prefer my Canon 5DIII. Full frame...

ps: I thought if you set all the setting (contrast, saturation, etc.) to 0 in each picture style, each picture style would be the same. I guess NOT.
-
OK, it seems the picture styles are different from each other, independent of their individual settings, such as saturation and contrast. That makes things way more confusing.
I thought if you set...
