Very interesting resource, as always!

It would be very interesting for me to see also a review of tripod legs :) .

"... NEX-6, which offers focus peaking. This is not surprising if you think about it, as the adapter is mating a lens optimized for phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) to a camera that uses a contrast-detection autofocus (CDAF) system."

Interesting - NEX-6, AFAIR, offers PD-AF on sensor. So the adaptor cannot use this camera feature? It would be interesting to know why.

IMHO, it's a pity (and a big loss for Nikon) that there's no camera in Nikon 1 system with the same level of user controls (and a standard hot shoe). V1 (not to mention J2/J1) look very... pitiful in UI department compared to this.

HDF2: Sounds like Leica has taken a page from Harley Davidson's marketing handbook.

If Leica management go to the next chapter we will soon start seeing Red Dot, Leica branded t-shirts and doo-rags.

On the other hand - and unlike Harley Davidsons - these Leica's do look pretty cool.

IMHO, a lot of Harleys look cool too...

Base ISO, as per the preview :) .

CFynn: I'm sure it is a nice camera, but the reported prices are nearly $8,000 for the camera and $7,200 for the new 50mm f./2.0 lens. Is this a camera for bankers with big bonuses?

Why only for bankers? I would think that it's for anybody with $15K+ of disposable income (or some photo jobs lined up that could justify this expense :) ).

Not bad for ISO3200 on a 24MP DX sensor :) . Not bad at all, IMHO.

On Sigma USA announces pricing of 50-150mm F2.8 OS HSM article (105 comments in total)

OOPS, posted my comment on the linked announcement :( . Here's a copy:

There's something strange about this lens specs. The weight is not disclosed yet, but the size is identical to 70-200 OS lens (86.4mm x 197.6mm vs 86x197 mm, the first from http://www.dpreview.com/news/2011/2/8/sigma50-150 , the latter from http://www.dpreview.com/products/sigma/lenses/sigma_70-200_2p8_os). Why exactly the claim then that the 50-150's "design ... is smaller and lighter than full frame 70-200mm F2.8 designs"?
