Just my thoughts. I really hope the new Sigma 30 mm f1.4 will perform better when it comes to corners around f5.6 - f8. I like to have a small, light, fast equivalent of a 50 mm lens on FF. I hope...

I have also the 1st generation 30 mm f1.4 and the biggest issue for me is poor image sharpness towards corners when stopped down. But I like the angle and weight of the lens very much.
