Highly capable little DSLR. Great for travel with the 35mm attached. Good image quality. I love the adjustable LCD.
Versatile camera that allows an enthusiast to push deeper into creative photography. Low-light focusing can be inconsistent. Right size for me. Good image quality.
Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D
Nikon AF Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED VR
Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR
Great beyond f2.8. Cheap. Great as a reversed lens for macro work as it has manual aperture control.
Versatile range nice image quality. Good VR. Just lacks a bit of snap compared to primes.
Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G VR
Sharp. High Chromatic aberration wide open. Focusing can be inconsistent sometimes.
One of my favourites. Good focusing, good contrast at all f-numbers. Good wide open.
Economical zoom (for nikon). Good image quality below 200m. Blurry at 300mm. VR inconsistent on my copy and noisy. Focuses decisively.
Nikon AF-S Nikkor 85mm f/1.8G
Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM
Sigma 19mm F2.8 DN | Art
Love it. Sharp. Good contrast. Great for portraits. CA can be an issue wide open.
A unique gem. A flexible prime. Superb image quality. Sharp, good contrast, low CA and the only lens I know that can give F1.8 at 18mm ... and it works very well. Sigma USB Dock very useful. Heavy.
Sigma 30mm F2.8 DN | Art
Sigma 8-16mm F4.5-5.6 DC HSM
Sony E 50mm F1.8 OSS
Good sharpness. Crazy wide, provides unique opportunities. No live view on my cameras as the firmware has not been updated. Good flare control.
Tokina AT-X Pro 11-16mm f/2.8 DX
Constant f2.8. Very sharp. Flares easily. Doesn't like highlights.
