Francis Carver: Make the price $149.95, and we'll seriously consider it.

Compact or Camcorder is smaller because it's have a smaller sensor and it's design not need to care about how to change a lens. ^^

Justin Francis: The small sensor really kills it. No doubt the image quality is good but then almost all cameras nowadays (including some smartphones) produce very good IQ. The key is DOF control. Even with fast primes, it would be a struggle. MFT just walks all over this system.

That camera cannot change the lens and I think color is not good as Nikon 1 too. However if you need sample of small lens please compare it to another mirrorless, Nikon 30-110VR is very small if you compare it with 55-200 or 70-300 lens.

J1 and V1 make a money for me and I don't need to buy expensive supertele lens, with 2.7x my 70-200 is turn to 189-540mm.

Nikon 10-100 is 10X with electronic zoom. It's stand out. :)

Large sensor cost you a huge lens. However The Nikon 1 have a good DOF it a lot of better than compact or phone camera.

On Lexar promises XQD cards later in 2012 article (39 comments in total)
In reply to:

Peiasdf: I think they should just figure out a way to make SD cards faster and do away with the CF and XQD format.

I think consumer should just not read professional news and the world will be better.

In reply to:

DioCanon: Oh come on!

WE DONT NEED ANOTHER CARD FORMAT!!!

SD is the STANDARD, make it less fragile and will be perfect.

Besides I have Canon, Canon users have already CF and SD (now in almost every model), do we really want a new DSLR with a different format?

NO THANK YOU!

Screaming Canonian, Screaming and run for your life.

But hey girl, it's not consumer product. ;)
