EOSHD: You can't judge noise levels on YouTube. Compression removes it. ISO 1600 looks worse than 25,600. There's also the matter of rolling shutter on this camera, it isn't pretty!

He just blame everything to make more people hit his site.

Richard Weisgrau: Getty just announced its give away of photos for blogs and non-commercial websites. Now it has more content to give away. If Getty will have a claim to fame in the history of stock photography, it will be that it ruined it!

Gave an opportunity to get higher opportunity, may be.

No full-screen mode (Mac OS), Non attractive UI (Nikon View NX is better!!), No U-point, No shortcut show on icon, Need more easy shortcut (One push shortcut, Customizable.), No large icon mode, Where is gradient?, How to push a lot of keywords, And I think it's slower than Nikon View NX.

In reply to:

limlh: The Nikon 1 is very popular with Asian ladies. The inclusion of this AW1 will widen its appeal, particularly for those active people who want to bring it for their rugged outings.

You research it?

In reply to:

Nismo350Z: I think I'll wait. Not long from now, Nikon will release a SB-310 due to the thermal cut-out protection being too aggressive ;)

Thermal cut-out can turn off any time (And it have thermal indicator while you turn Thermal cut-out off), I turn off it in 10 second after received my first SB-900. Why you don't know how to turn it off???

AbrasiveReducer: Wow. If this is true, the one area where Canon is significantly behind Nikon is fixable.

Do it at your own risk, only rich kid will do that.

Preternatural Stuff: What is it with writers nowadays. Its not the shutter sound that needs muffling!

Its the mirror slap - a dinosaur legacy of hte film era!

Even during the film era, we used rangefinder cameras for theatre productions that demanded it.

Today, if you want silent, any of the gazillion mirrorless or Sony SLT cameras are already inherently so.

Nikon 200-400 not just a half price but all body that match a 200-400 have and built-in tele-converter that call 'high-speed crop'.

chlamchowder: The Nikon AF-S 200-400/4 VR II is $6750, and the TC-14E is $500. Together, they would cost $7520.
So, the question is, is the convenience of having the teleconverter built in worth $4480?

With crop body Nikon do it better convenience.
