ecphot: I just purchased and I'm a bit disappointed there is no auto setting that detects the lens/camera profile. Also the scaling for volume anamorphosis seems a bit crude - basically the same as scaling in Photoshop. I'm not seeing the benefit.
how do you tirn on the auto - setting? i do not see a change when opening an image. re: 2nd point - I was hoping for better results but it seems similar to just using scale in PS transform. maybe it works better with certain images. I shoot architecture and interiors so I was hoping it would help me with objects near the edge of frame.

ecphot: i bought DxO I think version 5 and got the upgrade to V6 and I liked alot of the features. But I felt the supported camera and lens profiles were woefully lacking. I am only interested in Canon pro cameras and lenes and what they had and what they said were coming weren't good enough for me. I was told that they prioritize the most popular combos so I guess that means P&S and the new m4/3 stuff. That's fine but I really think the big Canon/Nikon cameras and ALL current lenses should be profiled.
That said - anyone want to buy my DxO and get upgrade pricing?
well yeah - Capture One camera profiles are the best - by far. Adobe RAW color makes me cringe. I wanted DxO for the anthropomorphic lens correction but the selection of profiles weren't there for my TS- lenses.
