The built quality cannot be very good since some inner glasses are fixed with glue as shown by Roger Cicala. This could means easy dis-adjustment.

More important than examine the IQ of this lens is to analyze its weak internal construction. Avoid it.

It should state: Nikon D600 - Sony inside. Every brand do this when use a third part (core) hardware. Roger Cicala said that this sensor unusually become dirty!

Does the smaller G5 sensor play a role in that focus readiness advantage? Could the combination of phase and contrast detected be responsible for that lag since it primarily aim at video...

As the glitch could be solved via firmware it seems caused but some malfunction in the camera-stepper motor feed back. The battery and lens removal confirm that. Could that occur in 18-135 STM lens...
