That's very very good pricing for WA zoom.

Yes. That is why it is a hobby. There are mainly two personal reasons (other than the obvious ones) I take photographs - 1. To create a piece of memory 2. To show my family/friends what I saw.

Very beautiful photos Nate. The editing seems appropriate to me :)

Going by the varied user reviews over the forums and internet, Sony might have some QA issues for this lens (and some people expect a Zeiss/leica prime quality IQ in a cheap, kit power zoom). My...

I agree with Pradipta. The 2nd one has the best composition and impact. And yeah, the pics seem to be a bit overdone for my test.

That's a very detailed tutorial Justin, Thanks a lot ! I plan to get the UWA zoom in the future as well. Btw, may I ask you where is that beach located ?

I didn't know that the EXIF contains the camera serial number, default properties in Win 7 do not show that.
Anyway, I now understand that many editing programs strip the EXIF and the users are...

I've been meaning to ask this question for a while. Many of our fellow photographers upload their beautiful works in various forums and galleries. Its one of my habits to check the exposure...

I've recently been to Europe albeit a different part. I only had my kit 16-50PZ with me. Going through my images, 95% of my photos are between 16 - 32mm fl. Among those, half are between 23-30m and...

Thanks Andre ! I love Panoramas as well. I used to use the in-built app in the camera but recently started stitching using ICE. I was just going through photos from a recent trip and found one...

Are only stitched panoramas allowed or we can add cropped panorama from a single file as well ?

Exactly ! I was confused to see the title - What does resolution have to do with Raw vs Jpeg !

Unfortunately it looks like it is :(

I know many of our fellow NEX users like the VCL-ECU1 WA converter with the SEL 16mm. Did anyone try this with the Sigma 19mm with a step up ring ? If yes then how was the result ? The Sigma is...

Awful pricing for the E-mount version since for a little more you can get the SEL50 which is 1.3 stops faster and also has OSS.

Wow! You got a great copy mate. I guess the Sony QC is a bit bummer. May be most of the earlier adopters/reviewers got a bad copy of the lens and hence the flood of -ve reviews. My copy is not that...

I have both. For small prints / web usage, the 16-50 will suffice if you stop down. But for larger print, you should get the Sigma as it is a lot more sharper even from wide open.

Thanks :) Yes, I really enjoyed my visit. There seems to be some problem with the pic #5, so here it is again:
@davect01 Yes, I'd advise you to. I liked this place most in my Greece trip :)
