Yes because it only slower in some lighting condititions but its always more accurate. I get more keeper with the A99. I don't know why it's more accurate. I assume that Sony tightened up the focus...

iMO that is correct. The a99 struggles in low light even good light. It is however very accurate. good  light it's accurate and fast. Lower the light and the speed drops off. Sometimes it won't...
