Sorry no movie button. For the birds.

Indeed! I consider buying it because it is light weight and reasonably priced in addition to my travel lens- Sigma 18-250 macro. I still have a need for it for birthdays, weddings, and other...

Mine is A-okay. Here are samples after 3 days of use.

Excellent shots! Just got the Canon SL1 yesterday with the Sigma 18-250 mm macro lens. I find it works extremely well using the P mode than the Aperture mode in low light situation. I compared the...

I used to have the Canon 350D/XT and I gave it to my son. But the Canon SL1 is smaller: 117x91x69mm while the 350D is 127x94x64mm. I hope the Canon SL1 matches the T5i's video performance.

I am actually thinking of buying the Canon T5i or the Nikon D5200 but now the Canon SL1 is now making think twice because of the its size. The Canon SL1 is the "shrunken head" version of the Canon...

This camera will sell thousands of units if it came in polka dot color. The other thing is it does not have a dedicated video button.

Is it weather-sealed? If not, then I recommend Flexseal.

You broke the sound barrier with these shots. These are very fast-moving targets and you froozed them all with the Nikon 18-300mm which a lot of 'experts' say it cannot be done with a superzoom....

Marilyn Monroe: "Happy birthday Mr. President." Under the skirt shot also available if requested.

Okay. The people have spoken and no more Ken Rockwell talk. I really didn't expect negative reactions against KR.

Ken has been reviewing cameras when digital cameras are still at 2megapixels. That's a long long time. Shouldn't he get a little credit? No? A lot of people like the Nikon 18-200mm lens so he could...

Yes, yes. The Sigma 18-250 macro lens is weak in the center of the range but still perfect for traveling and general photography. For portrait, low-light photography like birthdays, parties,...

Congratulations! The Sigma 18-250 is different. It is sharp at both ends of the extremes which is different from the other superzoom lenses. Looking forward for your comparisons. Thanks.

The Sony does not come with a battery charger. The first thing the manual tells you is: charge battery before using. Ay caramba!

Thanks for the positive feedback. I like the size and weight of the lens. I am waiting for the answer to question of auto-correction on distortions from Nikon. Let you know as soon as I get it.
