Thank you for doing the math, and for saving me some embarrassment with Canon! I still plan on doing some controlled tests, but it seems that this flash is likely to be just too wimpy. :-(

You can add extension tubes whenever you need to focus at close range...will shave a few feet off the MFD. Nice shots, by the way!
