Pandaemas: I awe apple devices for their display, but offering a low res device doesn't seem like a smart move...

Well... if they quadrupled the resolution they'd need 652ppi... No one can make a screen with that pixel density. Pictures on the original ipad and ipad 2 look great. They'll look great on the ipad mini too.

God, as usual, the Android folks are going nuts because someone (gasp!) actually suggested that an apple product may be used by photographers. Oh the injustice!

Man I am so sick of all the whining because and Android tablet didn't get the same attention. Poor, poor fandroids.

I've never understood the need Android fanboys have of flooding every single Apple-related article on every single forum with one of the following:

1. Who cares?
2. I like my <some Android device> better.
3. Apple sucks.
4. Why would anybody need a retina display?
5. AMOLED is better.

My response is:
1. You're just jealous.
2. That's nice. But who cares?!
3. OK, everyone has an opinion. Thanks for sharing.
4. It makes a huge difference. Those that criticize do so out of envy.
5. Not with the over-saturation that it's known for. Images are not all about "deep blacks". There's many more colors besides black.
