you almost had my vote too Dez except something was wrong with my profile. Glad to see you did so well. NYC has some awesome dressed up folks for Halloween and this year looks like it was no different.Kudos.Barb
You totally should have won. This shot rocks and you make it sing in HDR. Bravo!
All the best Barb
I loved your photo . It is perfect...depth of field, tracks, wood, and then some tiny seedling challenging all that metal and wood. Cheers Barb
Great shot and the title is bang-on Barb
Great shot, I really loved the lighting and the comp.
What a fantastic image. It is more amazing because it is 14 stitched shots. Congratulations on super command of the technology.Barb
I really liked this photo it caught my eye.....it is wonderful and sinister at the same time.
Yahoo...so glad to see you with a #1. This is an awesome catch.
pami24: Instead of new lens reviews we now get this nonsense
What part of a "Software Technique" is a new lens review? Get with the program and pick your articles accordingly.
Lee Jay: I always work to avoid exactly that look.
Great article Ellen ...exactly what I have been looking for to enhance some old houses that I want to print...The blurs/textures will do nicely to help with some modern things encroaching in the scenes...much better than a vignette in this case.Thank you
Congratulations Dez, you really captured the spirit of the Challenge. It's a great shot with a perfect title Barb
Yo BA 5* for sure. It was my #1barb
http://vimeo.com/21419634Here is an excellent video of aurora in Norway
This was a very unhelpful review of this book.
Thank you so much for such an informative article with absolutely stunning shots. Not only was the article great for capture of Aurora shots but for me it contained some very valuable info on cold weather photography. Judging by the winter weather predictions for this year for where I live that info will be vital. It will be either stay inside and keep your camera equipment and self warm or get out and catch some great cold weather shots.
Magical picture of an amazing place. You have managed a great capture of a landmark without loads of people.... what a feat!! I was there 1982 and it makes me sad to see such pollution in the air now.
I loved this shot!! I ca only imagine that it got much worse as the Storm passed over. The comp is wonderfulCongratulations
This shot is absolutely amazing!!!Bravo. I lived in Riyadh for almost 3 years and saw several sandstorms but nothing close to this spectacular shot.
Joe Pineapples: Far too many entries! To do a decent job of voting on such a large set of photographs would take hours. Surely it would be more sensible to limit the number of entries, and then run the challenge again in a few weeks time?
I agree there were too many entries. In order to give a fair chance to all and vote fairly took at least several hours.
Congrats Dez...these are two great Poseurs and pretty funny to boot.Glad you did wellBarb
