On Richard Franiec offers Canon PowerShot G7 X custom grip article (110 comments in total)

I wish someone would make a grip that didn't require a base plate for the E M5. It's more slippery than any other camera I own and unlike the PL5, neither Olympus nor 3rd parties offer anything that doesn't add on to the bottom. I finally used Sugru to add a ridge which works fine, but something more classy would be nice.

I have one question about the tests: Why do all the lenses tested so far seem to have much worse sharpness on a D7000 compared to the 7D? The glass is basically the same as well as the sensor resolution.

Also, one request: Would it be possible to match the intermediate tested focal lengths? The 18-250 has 80mm and 135mm while the 18-270 has 100mm and 200mm.

MPA1: Where are the orbs in question? All I see is diminished left/right reflections of the light in the centre of the ball. I'm not sure I would even have noticed that if I had not been searching for it!

Is that what this is all about or is this photo just a bad illustration?

The orbs are the well defined white disks in the top photo. The old X10 sensor blew out any sharp contrast light sources.
On the second picture, you actually see the reflections.
