The new battery is backwards compatible with your A100, but your older battery won't work in the new camera. I'm not sure about the chargers, so I'll refrain from commenting on that point.

Amazing videos, as usual.

That would be very helpful.

EXIF tells me that you raised the exposure in Lightroom by 1.45 EV during the RAW conversion, which effectively makes this an ISO 4500 shot, close to ISO 6400 on the NX300 scale. On top of that you...

And it rates the A77 with the same sensor higher than the A57, which tells you mostly one thing, that all these cameras perform pretty much within their margin of measuring error.

Depends how you look at it. In practise it has a very large effect in low light, especially if the auto mode used, has a habit of shooting at a minimum aperture of F4 with a relatively "fast"...

Actually, those were the most unbiased comparisons as they took most of the cognitive dissonance and "common beliefs" (mostly assumptions based on internet memes) out of the equation and focused on...

It seems usable to me up to ISO 3200 and even higher at small sizes.
Keep in mind that generally speaking, reported ISO's from the A65 (and A77) are at least a third of a stop understated, meaning...

Studio shots at Dpreview and Imaging Review clearly disagree with your findings.

Like I said, anyone with eyes. And since the A99 shot is clearly sharper, you don't seem to qualify to pass any relative judgements worth listening to.
But with your history, that didn't come...

On the whole when just looking at ooc jpegs. DXO measures colour response in their full sensor tests and here Sony cameras consistently show less colour blindness than any of its peers the past years.

No, focus differences do not affect noise. And reality is what can be seen in those crops posted or even better, when taking T stop differencesout of the equation (same Sigma...

By this logic, both the D600 and 5Dmk3 must have had pity sales too the first months after their release, going by all the discounts. In fact, I remember a 14% discount on the Canon...

... and same physical exposure settings. You be the judge:

It's not a vague argument if you ever looked at and held the LA-EA2 adapter. About 85% of those >370 lenses mentioned, does not have built in AF motors, thus requires one in a suggested adapter....

Closer to half a stop, since the D600, 5DMKIII and D800 are clearly noisier at ISO 6400 than the A99 at ISO 3200. Or ISO 12800 vs 6400.

Not really, as can be witnessed here:

Should work with the Minolta 100mm too as it shares the design with the supported Sony 100mm.
Activity older than 12 months is not displayed.
