"We've reached out to Adobe". FFS, can't you just say "asked" ??? Or do you prefer to leverage new paradigms rather than use English?

I don't think that you can really judge from small JPGs. But I have both the 50-200 and the 150. The 150 is sharper, although we're talking small differences here. More noticeable to me is better...

What do you mean by an "ideal" camera? I've never encountered one. For my personal needs, the E-5 was the better choice. It sounds like you just want to own one of these cameras, not use it. Not...

Well, I'm also thinking along these lines. Problem is, I have two non-negotiable features for an E-5 replacement: swivel screen, and serious weather proofing. The Nikon D800 / D600 are obviously...

Thanks very much Bruce, that's very helpful. I will follow your advice. Thanks for your time!

I second that on the VF2. Generally very good, but it brightly lit contrasty scenes - say a sunny day in a forest - it's horrible. And saturation / colour accuracy is not something to boast about....
-
Well, I guess even on an E-5 it's never going to be exactly subtle :-D
Actually in a way I suppose since the have to take most of the weight holding the lens, the lighter the body, tbe less the...

Well thanks for the kind words, but I wouldn't place myself quite at Salgado's level! One or two lucky vacation shots on my part, a lifetime of brilliant dedicated work on his, not quite the...

It was something like 100m away, I guess. We actually had a Minke whale (smaller than this humpback) go directly under the zodiac, touching it. As a fellow photographer put it, "(expletive deleted)...

Ok, when I next need to do that I'll remember your advice :-)

Neither did I until I went!!

I wouldn't place myself in a higher league - I was lucky to get very photogenic weather. Personally I'd wouldn't trade off the Arctic against the Antarctic. They're different, and equally...

Yes, that one stands out for me too! Also a nice crop on the second. Thanks for sharing :-)

If you mean micro FourThirds lens on E-5, it's easy: you can't.

...and it looks too big with mZD lenses ... the mZD 12mm looks ridiculous.
Heading towards E-P5 and some other DSLR. Well, I would if I had the money. Since I haven't I may as well wait and see if...

Hmmfff. Even the 12-60 looks unwieldy. Dunno, not feeling all that enthusiastic right now. I was just comparing some shots with the E-P3/mZD 12mm and E-5/ZD 12-60 at 12mm. IM(ns)HO, the 12-60...

I understand this is not an uncommon event - the front ring on my 12-60 - bit that holds the lens hood on - has broken, the three screws that hold it have sheared off. I could send it for repair -...

Thanks to everybody for the kind comments. I guess I just wanted to give a bit of recognition to what a great tool the E-5 (and E-1, -400 & -3, but IMO the 5 is the best) has been and will continue...
