Bob, yes I do use it. I have always been taught to expose for the highest light value, and a one degree spotmeter allows you to pick this, or any other value, better than any integrated metering...

My first photography primer was Stan Osolinski's 'Nature Photography'. His two most important recommendations were a tripod and a 1 degree spotmeter.I've had a Minolta 1 degree spotmeter for many...

I've been using gps4cam with a number of different cameras. It's accurate and simple to use. I haven't used it with RAW, but the instructions say that it works.http://gps4cam.com/ressources/

Yes, of course you're right. But I can't help feeling a sense of responsibility since she bought it on my recommendation.I did think about attaching the lens, and in any event this would have been...

A friend has returned her EM-5 for a full refund. The LV screen didn't appear when it should have and the shutter button didn't work either when the viewfinder was used. I went through a check list...

Many thanks. It's your last sentence that holds the key to my question.

I follow as far as photographing the code generated by my iPhone 4, and putting that picture together with shots taken with my camera in a folder,What I don't understand is how the gps4cam software...

It was good of you to mention these. I wasn't aware of them. At the moment I can't get GPS4cam to work. My desktop software isn't recognising the code which I photograph on the iPhone. I'll keep...

My iPhone 4 is tiny, too, but I guess it can be fitted because it has so few other features.

I don't want to complain, or ask what the best way of overcoming the lack is. I'm just wondering why it's not included. If I can have GPS on my iPhone 4, you wouldn't think it's a complicated...

When trying to upload to my gallery. The little wheel just goes round and round. Where should I go for help, please?
-
Yes, I bought mine in a store but just tested it in my camera. Taking a laptop is a good idea.Regards

I wasn't clear whether you'll get another copy when it's available, or if you've given up on the lens completely?
-
Yes, exactly so. The test I did was with both lenses wide open. I was thinking about making a comparison of EM5 + 75/1.8 and K5 + 77/1.8 but decided not to after reading your post for which many...

Correct. I took an orchid using my EM-5 and 75/1.8 then FA 77/1.8 which confirmed what you say.The difference isn't huge, but you can see it.Regards
