I agree that if the buffer is a limit then it shouldn't be marketed as their flagship DX camera. My understanding is that there is supposed to be a D400 on the way with bigger buffers and flash...

These don't look like in-camera APIs, but APIs for your computer to either control the cameras remotely or process raw images. I need something on the camera itself.
